Perforated stainless steel plate is one of the most versatile products on the market today. A fully functioning product by it's shape of perforated opening and gauge and size--it can be tough in gauge and work hard at screening and filtering a variety of solids in the market place. On the other hand, it's same features can be lightweight in gauge, have small or large optically appealing openings and be very suitable for many architectural and display uses.

Steellong offers special stainless steel perforated plate for filter beds in water treatment and related technologies. The use of stainless steel perforated plate in Water Treatment Works is becoming more common. Where ceramic tiles need to be entirely replaced, a cost effective option is to adopt the use of perforated stainless steel plate.

Any design of perforated plate is possible and can be delivered to site within workable lead times. We specialise in meeting specific design requirements and do not 'stock' any specific range of perforated plate. We have found that there is very limited commonality in size of area to be covered and 'Open Area' design varies from one facility to another.

Progressively, the size of individual plates /sheets is reducing in response to 'handle-ability' on site in order to meet Health & Safety Executive requirements for lifting. However, large sheets can be made 3m x 2m if required.

Perforated stainless steel panels contain hole patterns of varying sizes and shapes created by punching presses. Types of hole patterns include staggered rounds, centers and squares, straight square slots, round and line squares, round slot end and side staggered and hexagons.

It is widely used in automotive, lighting, construction, agriculture, petrochemical, laundry, mining, military and acoustical applications.
